Windows updates occurring on Nevis+

Some Hippotizer Nevis+ units have been shipped with Windows updates enabled.

This may impact start-up behaviour and potentially cause some issues with hardware configuration if the drivers are changed.

If you have a Nevis+ that is prompting you for Windows updates, please contact us by creating a case and we can send you instructions on how to disable this.

You should be prepared to perform the following procedure when you receive the instructions.

1. Back up your Hippotizer show information.
2. Take the system off-line.
3. Restore factory settings using the Green Hippo factory restore.
4. While still off-line, apply the fix in the instructions we send you and reboot. Once this is done, you can put the unit back on the network.
5. Install the version of Hippotizer required for your show/programming and import your import your show/programming.
6. Create a new Rental restore point with these new settings.
